About the event
In partnership with the League of Women Voters of Arkansas (LWVAR)
Voting can feel intimidating—especially when ballots are long, rules feel confusing, and no one ever quite explains how it all works. These workshops are designed to change that.
Arkansas Civic Action Network, in collaboration with the League of Women Voters of Arkansas, is hosting a series of Voter Workshops across the state to help new voters walk into the voting booth informed, prepared, and confident.
In these interactive sessions, participants will learn:
What to expect before, during, and after Election Day
How to register, update information, and verify eligibility
What’s on the ballot—and how to make sense of it
How voting works in Arkansas (early, absentee, and Election Day)
Where to find reliable, nonpartisan election information
No lectures. No pressure. Just clear information, practical tools, and space to ask real questions.
Whether you’re voting for the first time—or helping someone who is—these workshops ensure that nothing about the process is a surprise.
Come curious. Leave confident.Because your first vote should feel empowering, not overwhelming.
