Workshop in a Box

We are adding to our Workshop in a Box the skills and tools to provide training on each of the six sessions of Arkansans in Action: The Legislature, our current series of free trainings in legislative advocacy. You do not have to attend all trainings so if you join late, videos of the previous trainings will be made available. These online sessions will cover the same information and experiential learning opportunities provided in our live trainings at the UALR Downtown location and will be recorded and added to our resources page once they are completed. As with our GET VOTE READY workshops described below, we will follow up with you after the trainings and provide the materials you need to replicate the trainings in your own community.

Arkansas Civic Action Network presented its signature workshop, GET VOTE READY, to six diverse groups in Pulaski County prior to the 2024 election. The results were so positive that we are making it available statewide. 

You can bring this valuable information to your church, community group, book club, or any group of friends/relatives/neighbors that would benefit from learning:

• How to research candidates and ballot initiatives

Spend 90 minutes with us online and we will certify you to lead the workshop.  It’s simple!
